N-(p-Coumaroyl) Serotonin can reduce PDGF-induced PDGFR tyrosine phosphorylation and Ca2+ release in the sarcoplasmic reticulum. 
N-(p-Coumaroyl) Serotonin can improve atherosclerosis and aortic wall enlargement, and is often used in atherosclerosis research.
