[Synthetic method of resveratrol]
 
Resveratrol is an inhibitor of oxidative metabolites of many aromatic carcinogens, and is rated as a natural chemoprophylaxis for heart and cerebrovascular diseases and cancer. A large number of studies have shown that resveratrol also has the functions of anti-mutation activity, protecting the cell toxicity induced by oxidized lipoprotein, and inhibiting the proliferation of tumor cells.
Resveratrol was first isolated from the root of Veratrum grandiflorum in 1940. At present, it has been found in at least 72 plants belonging to 31 genera and 21 families, such as Grape and Vitis in the grape family, Arachis, Cassia, Sophora in the leguminous family, Polygonum in the Polygonum family, etc. Because of the low content of resveratrol in plants and the high extraction cost, chemical, biological and genetic engineering methods to prepare resveratrol have become an indispensable means in the process of its development.

Resveratrol is a kind of antioxidant naturally occurring in grape and red wine, mulberry, peanut and Polygonum kepticum. Hormonal and genotoxic activity of resveratrol: Cytotoxicity, micronucleus, and metaphase chromosomal translocation of resveratrol were observed in lymphoma of L5178Y mice. Induction of micronuclei was also observed in Chinese hamster V79 cells. The centromere signal and cell cycle analysis of the micronucleus suggest that resveratrol does not directly interfere with the tubulin polymerization released by mitotic cells.
The mechanism of protecting mitochondrial function: some scholars studied the separation of mitochondria from rat brain tissue through the rat model of hypoxic-reoxygenation, and found that resveratrol completely blocked the release of cytochrome C in a concentration-dependent way and significantly reduced the generation of oxide anions at the concentration of 1nmol. The mitochondrial protective membrane damage caused by hypoxia-reoxygenation was protected by about 70% at 0.1 micromol of resveratrol. In the presence of NADH and cytochrome C, a low half effective concentration of 18.34 PM resveratrol blocked mitochondrial oxygen consumption.

Periodic antipain effect: Verified by 1% formalin test, the results showed that resveratrol opened large and small conductance Ca2+ activated potassium channels, but not ATP-sensitive K+ channels, thus producing an antipain effect in the experiment, proving that resveratrol's antipain effect is related to K+ channels. Voltage dependent K+ channels may also be involved.
